TRAINING
I am a classically trained Method Actress trained in the two year conservatory program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute based in Manhattan, New York. At the Strasberg Institute I trained in the fundamentals of Method Acting in theatre and film, Improvisation, Character Building, Singing, Ballet and more. I plan to continue my education in improvisation this Fall 2018 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Centre in New York.
RECENT WORK
This year I played the lead role in feature horror film 'REAP' directed by Joe Leone, coming out this Winter 2018. I also shot short film 'Convergence' as seen in my reel with Emmy Award Winning director Jeremy Levine while I was studying at Strasberg along with a few other shorts. This summer I had a cameo in a New York based documentary about the human condition called 'We Are All Angels' http://weareallangelsfilm.com/
PASSIONS
Making films have been a passion of mine since I was a little girl sneaking around making home movies on my family VHS camera in Vancouver, Canada. Naturally this later lead to my love for writing scripts for TV, Film and Theatre as a hobby these past few years during my time at Lee Strasberg. I also enjoy painting abstract acrylic on canvas and will be showing my first piece at a collaborative art show in Manhattan, NY this September (location to be announced). I also enjoy various forms of dance and work with a Singing Coach in my spare time. I believe an artist is someone who does something creative everyday. Being an artist is what keeps my life full of colour and optimism.
